Diane Stehle Dix is General Counsel for GE Power & Water’s Distributed Power, a leading provider of power equipment and services. Distributed Power’s product portfolio includes highly efficient industrial aeroderivative gas turbines and reciprocating engines that generate 100 kW to 100 MW of power for numerous industries globally. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Distributed Power employs more than 5,000 people around the world.
Since joining GE in 1998, Diane has served in both transactional and general counsel roles supporting various GE businesses, including GE Aviation, GE Capital, and GE Oil & Gas. She has led teams comprised of lawyers, non-lawyer professionals, and administrative staff. In her last role, Diane supported the Flow & Process Technologies business (Dresser) for GE Oil & Gas in Houston, completing an 18-month assignment driving legal and compliance integration globally. Prior to joining GE, Diane was in private practice with Thompson Hine in Cincinnati.
She earned her B.A. in English from Northern Kentucky University and her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Diane is based in Cincinnati, OH.
