Troy Henagan is Senior Human Resources Manager for GE Power & Water’s Distributed Power business, a leading provider of power equipment and services. Distributed Power’s product portfolio includes highly efficient industrial aeroderivative gas turbines and reciprocating engines that generate 100 kW to 100 MW of power for numerous industries globally. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Distributed Power employs more than 5,000 people around the world.
Troy holds the top HR leadership position at Distributed Power. A 20-year GE veteran, he originally joined GE’s medical business, supporting manufacturing, engineering, field service, service marketing and service operations. He held HR manager positions at GE Information Services and GE Industrial Solutions before moving to GE Energy in 2003. There he supported a variety of businesses and functions, including legal, IT and marketing. Most recently, Troy led HR at GE Energy’s Power Generation Services. In addition to his GE experience, Troy worked for Mobil Oil Company, JI Case, and Aramark Corporation. He also serves as co-leader of GE Power & Water’s Diversity Council.
Troy received a bachelor’s degree in employee relations and a master’s in labor and industrial relations from Michigan State University. He and his wife Carmen live in Cincinnati and have three adult children.
