Octane Rating: CFR F1/F2

The Waukesha CFR F1/F2 engine is the most widely used instrument for octane number determination and the only one that conforms to both North American and European gasoline fuel specifications. The technology for determining a fuel’s octane number was pioneered by GE’s Waukesha gas engines. This innovation enables motorists to be confident that the gasoline they buy meets its advertised octane number rating and is safe for their vehicle’s engine.
